Our property has had the same staff in place since late 2016.  There has not been any raises in the past three years.  My owner wrote the budget for 2018 without any input from me.  In the “payroll” category, the budgeted amount is far less than it was last year.  Nothing has changed, and the employees are the same.  And he wonders why we are over in payroll on the budget.  Did he plan to cut someone?  So far we’re all staying, without any indication of any changes here.  Hope that stay the was it is, I would hate to have to cut a staff member.
