Where’s my Rock, so I can bash my head?

Our property profile consists of a large number of contract employees, that cannot commit to a full year’s lease.  We have a very large property and average between 20 to 30 renewals per month.  Our company gives a $50 per renewal commission for the staff members.  Recently, my Regional vice president actually told me that he was concerned that my staff was only signing 6 month renewals.  In the next breath he accused them of manipulating the system in order to earn 2 renewal commissions per year.
